Jumbo’s is technically open today, but please understand that we’re open with extremely limited activities…current conditions (frozen ground) for hayrides are unsafe.  The General Store will be open, but that’s about it for today.  There are some produce selections on the patio, and lots of crafts and treats.  Due to the ground being literally frozen over, there will be no hayrides, corn maze, pumpkin patch, craft attic, snack shack, pony rides, or face painting.  We’re so sorry!

Well good grief!  It’s a wet slushy mess at Jumbo’s today, and unfortunately we decided to close.  It’s more important that everyone stay home and safe.  The wagons can’t run in this anyway!  Stay home and go sledding!  

Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch one of the Top 10 in the country!

Wow!  We saw on MSN.com today that Jumbo’s has been named in their top 10 pumpkin patches in America!  We are thrilled!  Two more weekends left at Jumbo’s 2011 – we have lots of gorgeous pumpkins left even this late in the season.  Come on out and see one of the top ten pumpkin patches in the country!  :)  Check us out in the link below…

Wow what an incredible day today!  The farm was the happening place to be!  A lot of people found their “great pumpkin” of 2011, boy did we see some big ones come back out of the field!  Tomorrow is supposed to be gorgeous weather too, we would love to see you at the farm!  Get your Hercules Homemade Ice Cream and see the Meadow Brooke Alpacas.

Finally, a gorgeous day for the pumpkin patch!  Come on out this weekend to see what’s going on at Jumbo’s!  Hercules Homemade Ice Cream is here, come early and get your cup before it’s gone!  Can’t wait to see you at the farm!

Billy captured this beautiful rainbow on our farm this morning…a sign?  A beautiful weekend turned into a rainy one, but we still had lots of people bravely venture out in the rain yesterday…exactly why we love our customers.  Thank you!  Jumbo’s is opening today at 10:00 as scheduled, and military weekend is still going on!  Frederick’s radio station Key 103.1 will be broadcasting at Jumbo’s today from 1-3.  We hope to see you at the farm today!
